Successful Biomedical Cooperation with Laos!

On Monday, 24 May 2010, Rangsit University was pleased to honor ten Lao personnel for successfully completing the Biomedical Instrumentation Training Course. As spearheaded by the Department of Physics in the Faculty of Science, the one-year program is a joint cooperation project between Rangsit University, the Ministry of Health of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, and The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The awarding ceremony was highlighted by the presence of Dr. Arthit, President of Rangsit University.
The training course is a one year program designed for personnel in medical instrumentation with an objective to develop the knowledge and skills of technicians in biomedical instruments. The Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Rangsit University was chosen to conduct the training course with a total of 12 subjects for a duration of 765 hours. The training started on August 1, 2009 and lasted until May 21, 2010. From the measurement and evaluation of the training program, it shows that all participants have passed the course. Furthermore, the training course has been well supported by the Division of Medical Engineering, Department of Health Support, Ministry of Public Health, and Thammasat University hospital in terms of manpower and place of training.




























Rangsit University is proud to be part of this project in striving to constantly implement Internationalization on Rangsit campus and strengthen its good relation to the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos.
